Timo is all about re-inventing classics and delivering a deliciously modern and comfortable dining experience.
The brainchild of two college friends who dared to dream it big, Timo is a European fine-dine with an Indian twist, in association with celebrated MasterChef Ajay Chopra. This is his third outlet in Pune and first which serves non-vegetarian dishes as well.
Timo has recently launched a wonderful Valentine’s Day special menu to help you sweep your significant other and I got an opportunity to try it with my loved ones [read friends 😀 ].
The Bergamot and Ginger Fizz with the essence of Bergamot with crushed ginger and lime syrup was a wonderful drink to begin our evening. The subtle punch of the ginger was pretty soothing.

The Smoked Chicken Caesar Cornetto had lovely, smoky flavors that go well with the creaminess of the Caeser salad and the cornetto cone provides a nice crunch to it. And the fact that you don’t need to get your hands dirty to devour this salad, is just a cherry on top.

The Shish Touk Tacos were presented more like a pie with the za’atar spiced pita, toum, sumac salad and topped with a poached egg. Loved the flaky crust and the combination of flavors of the veggies and salad.

The Hasselback Potatoes elevates the humble potato to epic proportions by the cheddar melt and creamy black lentil sauce which leaves a wonderful masala hit to the back of the throat. #DeliciousDelicious
The Mezze Puchka was off the special menu however I just *had* to try it. The Kolkata special puchhkas filled with hummus, moutabel and tzatziki with puffed grain tabouleh. A wonderful amalgamation of Middle Eastern and Indian flavors. #YumYum
For the Burnt Chili Garlic Thecha Pomfret, the fish was slit and stuffed with the spicy thecha and cooked. Loved the flavors of the thecha which went very well with the perfectly cooked fish. On the other hand, the Fusilli with Basil Pesto looked quite pretty on the plate however lacked the punch of basil.

Desserts are the best way to end a meal, especially one that’s shared with your loved one. The Raspberry Entremet at Timo is a perfect dessert to bond over. Made with vanilla mousse filled with raspberry jelly, the entremets was garnished with white chocolate soil and passionfruit & mango jelly. It was quite a smorgasbord of textures and flavors. Absolute brilliance on a plate.
A romantic cozy dinner or one under the skies, some fantastic mocktails and wonderful dishes and impeccable service – Timo has it all to make your Valentine’s an unforgettable one.
