The Collective Project – A Collective Experience Indeed

Pune witnessed a hitherto unseen concept event with the introduction of ‘The Collective Project’. Conceptualized by Damini Oberoi of Q Events in association with Apeksha Shah and Tejal Kothari of The Dress Rehearsal, the Collective Project is a alliance of professionals from various fields, with an idea of creating a platform for niche businesses to display their work to a select audience.

For the first time in Pune, an unused warehouse had been spruced and decked up to host the event. Raja Bahadur Mills saw the crème-de-la-crème of the city enjoying the fascinating night. The Collective Project was an experience show which combined glamorous decor, fashion and entertainment in an unorthodox ambient set-up.

Speaking about the project, Damini Oberoi said, “This concept has been in the works for a while where like-minded entrepreneurs can come together to display their work and grow together at the same time. We even sent across invites to our guests in the shape of a warehouse, which once you open, has a beautifully done invite inside.” This beautiful and innovative invite was created by Lesha Jain of Le Dessein Studio.

Apeksha Shah of The Dress Rehearsal said, “Such concepts help break from the clutter of regular events and leave a lasting impression on the audience. I am very happy with the efforts put together by the entire team and the encouraging feedback we have received from our guests. I look forward for many more concepts like these.”

The audience was also treated to a sequence of flair bartending by Flair-O-Logy.

Stego also launched their luxury travel bags at The Collective Project. High on the style quotient, these bags are as sturdy as they are gorgeous.

A boomerang photo booth setup at the venue, a wedding corner set up by Nakoda Silver were some of the other features of this exciting event.

Pune is truly lucky to host such events that not only raise the bar on fashion events but also have the capability to disrupt the scene. Here’s wishing all the success to Q-Events, “The Collective Project” and “The Dress Rehearsal”.

A big shout out to Sheetha for inviting us and Damini and The Collective Project for hosting us.
