Crowne Plaza Pune City Center has recently come up with a new concept of quick meals or meals in a bowl – Fast N Fresh. Reusing extra lobby space to set-up a cozy restaurant, their aim is to provide light yet filling meal options to their patrons while remaining quick on time and light on the pocket as well.
An eclectic mix of Indian and Pan Asian cuisines, the menu is crafted by Chef Dev himself. His agenda was to curate a short but effective menu which leverages some common ingredients and which require minimal assembly, everything aimed to achieve their goal of quick service. Fresh meals, served fast – on the go.
So I recently visited the place to try this new concept restaurant and I was impressed. #FoodTasting
The Chinese Spring Onion Pancakes sported some good flavors. Lovely crunch on the outside complemented by generous stuffing inside. #YumYum

The Schezwan Chicken had a lovely hit of the spice but not schezwan level spice. On the other hand, the Crispy Water Chestnut Salt & Pepper was coated in a thin layer of sauce yet retained its crunch.

The Golden Fried Seafood had prawns, fish and squid. Was quite surprised by the inclusion of squid considering it is not very commonly served in platters. Perfectly fried, every bite was a seafood lover’s heaven.

The Khow Suey Bowl is simply comfort food in a bowl. Perfectly flavored, all elements were balanced and the ready bowl made it convenient for savoring all flavor profiles in every bite. #DeliciousDelicious

The Hakka Noodles with Asian Vegetables in Soy Chili Sauce will make you reminisce about the typical Indo-Chinese flavors that we all crave and have come to love.

If you’re looking to grab a quick meal or want some filling options but are short on time, Fast N Fresh is definitely an option to be considered. And the prime location should help them into tapping the local and traveling crowd.
