Chianti. A statement. An emotion. A land of free-flowing wine and authentic Italian cuisine.
Chianti expresses everything that is authentic and true-to-roots in the world. A rural region of Tuscany in the provinces of Florence, Chianti is known worldwide for the wine produced in and named for.
Already established and popular in Bengaluru and Chennai, Chianti Ristorante is now in Pune. Located on the 3rd floor at Phoenix Marketcity, the ambiance is extremely elegant and reminiscent of the neighborhood ‘ristorante’ in Rome and other Italian cities.
Right from homemade pastas, and hand rolled pizzas to fire roasted vegetables, all their food is handcrafted and prepared fresh throughout the day using the finest of authentic Italian ingredients. Dishes enjoyed for generations in villages throughout Italy inspire their menu, giving Chianti its authentic Italian fare.
My recent visit to this place certainly left me highly impressed with the overall experience – the ambiance, the service, the beverages and most importantly the food.
Classic Italian Sodas
Made primarily using carbonated water (soda), flavored syrup with a dash of cream on top, the Italian Cream Soda is an uber-popular beverage. While not quite Italian in origin, it does reflect some Italian references. The Classic Italian Cream Soda at Chianti sports some lovely flavors, with the essence of vanilla shining through. Perfectly chilled and appropriately sweet, this one hit all the right spots.

Chianti has also introduced their own blend of beverages, with a unique twist to the classic.
The Mocha & Creame was an amazing creation that set our taste buds tingling. Strong flavor of mocha shone through the beverage while the whipped cream on top provided the necessary richness.

The Ravioli Di Spinaci E Ricotta has fresh, homemade ravioli stuffed generously with spinach and ricotta and served with sage butter in a creamy mushroom sauce. The perfectly shaped ravioli impressed me much however the creamy earthy mushroom sauce simply took my breath away! #DeliciousDelicious

No meal is complete without a dessert and no Italian meal is complete without the beloved Panna Cotta. A dessert of Italian origin, Chianti serves the Panna Cotta with berry compote and fresh fruit. Gorgeous presentation, the flavors too were equally top-notch. #YumYum

An Italian’s passion for life is only equaled by their passion for delicious food. Food from kitchens that are warm and full of life, like Chianti.
