The Parfait Co. – Product Review

Founded by Sharmeen Indorewala, The Parfait Co. is India’s (and the world’s) first packaged French Parfait brand. French Parfait is a cold dessert which is richer in texture and flavor. Traditionally made with egg, sugar, cream, and a flavor (chocolate, fruit, etc.), The Parfait Co. has launched an egg-free parfait using a very high-quality whey protein from Germany, which offers the same silky texture and divine taste of the original versions.

Parfait is a classical cold French dessert that is served in fine dining establishments all over Europe. Every time you take a small bite of this delicate and natural dessert, it is a battle of flavor, texture and sensation. It is perhaps one of the most singularly luxurious and indulgent gourmet dessert experiences one could have.

The Parfait Co.’s products are all natural, with no added stabilizers, preservatives, additives or colorants and are gluten free. It is perhaps one of the most singularly luxurious and indulgent gourmet dessert experiences one could have!

The Parfait Co. offers 500 ml tubs of classic and premium range of parfaits. They are priced at Rs 455 and Rs 585, respectively. The team has also launched a 100-ml single serve packs, priced at Rs 99, which are fondly called “lil’ tubs of joy”.

I recently received a cute hamper from The Parfait Co. containing the lil’ tubs of joy of some of their popular flavors. I requested for the egg-free variants, simply to try something new and to check whether whey protein can be a reliable substitute. And I am convinced! Every flavor, every bite tasted just as amazing as the regular parfait. For someone not in the know, it would be near impossible to find the difference.

The Hazelnut Crème Parfait was aromatic, luxe and immersive. Loved the crunch of the roasted nuts with the creamy dessert.

The Salted Caramel Parfait was a fascinating flavor. There was a great balance of flavors of caramel with the grainy sea salt. #YumYum

The Passion Fruit Parfait was tart, fresh and simulating. Not a flavor I’d expect in a frozen dessert, this was a pleasant surprise. #Innovative

The Belgian Chocolate Parfait was robust, sinful and decadent. Sourced from the finest dark chocolate from Belgium, this one was my absolute favorite! #Unputdownable #HighlyRecommended
