Heavenly Views at Hotel Miraya

“Miraya” – ‘the one who is greatly admired’ – impeccably describes the philosophy of the modest and unassuming Hotel Miraya.

Featuring a garden, Miraya Hotel is located in Panchgani, half a kilometer from Parsi Point. Built in 2017, the property is within 3.5 km of Sydney Point. The hotel has a playground and a 24-hour front desk.

Panchgani and Mahabaleshwar are hardly a 3-hour drive from Pune so we decided to check this new place out one fine weekend. Google Maps show an accurate route to the place, although one has to keep their eyes peeled for the turn off of the main road. That’s a blink and miss.

Known for their exemplary customer service and in line with their ‘beauty in simplicity’ attitude, Hotel Miraya offers you plush green surroundings, an unobstructed view of the valley, pure vegetarian feasting options, free Wi-Fi and a memorable stay. Overseeing the river Krishna and providing an unhindered valley view, ‘Miraya’ draws its inspiration from the mystic poet and devotee of Lord Krishna, Mira.

A small hotel with 13 rooms, it has a lovely garden out front where guests can indulge in some light outdoor games, some chitchat or to simply feel the soft grass under their feet.

The Guest rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV with cable channels, an electric tea pot, a shower and a closet. Rooms are complete with a private bathroom equipped with free toiletries, while certain rooms are equipped with a seating area.

Although the rooms are comfortable with hardly any complaints, the best part about Hotel Miraya is the unhindered sight of the valley from every room. YES, each and every room!!

The daily breakfast offers vegetarian buffet options. Guests can enjoy a meal at the in-house restaurant, which also affords some gorgeous views of the valley. Options available to us were South Indian [Dosas, Uthappas], Maharashtrian [Poha], Eggs [Omletes, Scrambled, Boiled] and American [Cornflakes, Chocos].

Splendidly located in one of the most picturesque part of Panchgani, the modest yet stunning Miraya is perfectly designed for your ‘in the lap of nature’ sojourn. Rejuvenate the soul and detangle yourself at Miraya to rediscover the warmth and happiness with your precious ones!

A big shout-out to Team Miraya for hosting us over the weekend.
