After the stupendous success that Pimple Saudagar offered, Kothrud finally gets its own Adda.
Carrying forward the same theme from the earlier outlet, Adda Kothrud too sports some colorful windows as décor along with mixed chairs and sofas for your seating comfort. Addition of cards or board games on the tables ensure you end up spending hours having fun.
So recently me and the boys decided to try out this place upon invitation and boy, what a #SwagSeSwagat.

Adda has some brilliant singular cocktails and we were treated to some of the best of the lot.
Beauti-ful was made with house-made floral liqueur, vodka, cucumber and watermelon. While it did feel like a summer garden in your glass, there was just too much happening in there.
Beauti-ful [Rs. 250]
Pan Parag had the flavor of banarasi pan in liquid form with white rum for company. Perfect for #Bar-atiyokaSwagat
Pan Parag [Rs. 250]
Kaafi Awesome Rum was actually an awesome combination of litchi and rum with some kaffir lime for company. #DeliciousDelicious
Kaafi Awesome Rum [Rs. 250]
The Shikanjvodka, as the name suggests, is a blend of vodka and ice with Delhi style shikanjvi and topped with crisp boondi. The crunch of the boondi with the kick of the vodka was quite addictive. Hands down the best drink of the night. #YumYum #HighlyRecommended
Shikanjvodka [Rs. 250]
Adda also offers some cocktails in sharing bowls; also suitable for some really thirsty souls! 😉
The Madira Ka Matka was a red wine and brandy punch however felt more like a wine sangria, with the brandy being almost non-existent. Again on the sweeter side. A little less sugar syrup would’ve been better. #MadiraKaregiMadhosh didn’t quite hold true in this case.
Madira Ka Matka [Rs. 550]
The Jungle Juice Bar was one delicious blend of vodka, cranberry, pineapple, fruits and mint. A total #JungleMeinMangal.
Jungle Juice Bar [Rs. 550]
Cheesling Bhel was as good as ever while the Garlic Chana Fry brought a nice hit of the garlic to each bite.
Cheesling Bhel [Rs. 65]
Garlic Chana Fry [Rs. 120]
Fries with Toppings
Thai Fries were topped with peanut sauce with fried onion, fried garlic and crushed peanuts. Didn’t quite like the combination of peanuts with the fries and overall the dish felt fairly sweet as well.
Thai Fries [Rs. 180]
The Biryani Aranchini had all the goodness of biryani in one cheesy bite. Felt a little dry though.
Biryani Aranchini [Rs. 200]
The Hari Bhari Achari Tikki should’ve had the pickle-y punch to the dish however turned out to be on the sour side but the Corn Chili Pepper was a delicious affair.
Hari Bhari Achari Tikki [Rs. 250]
Corn Chili Pepper [Rs. 200]
The Tandoori Momos were cheesy and yummy and brought instant Delhi streetside memories. #DilliWaliFeel
Tandoori Momos [Rs. 160]
The Cajun Potato was spicy and crunchy and went very well with the mayo served alongside.
Cajun Potato [Rs. 180]
The Orange Chicken had well cooked chicken cubes however the zesty orange sauce turned out to be very sweet.
Orange Chicken [Rs. 200]
The Ghee Roast Chicken, reminiscent of what I had in Mangalore, was tossed in kundapura masala, curry leaves, sliced onions and lots of ghee. Absolutely finger licking delicious with a strong aroma of the ghee wafting in the air. #YumYum #HighlyRecommended
Ghee Roast Chicken [Rs. 285]
Chicken Tikoda were tikka morsels fried with masala breadcrumb. The masala on the coating went well with the tender chicken inside. A great pairing with chilled beer.
Chicken Tikoda [Rs. 250]
Chicken in Mat-Kha Sauce were lollipops served in a ridiculously spicy sauce but loved the spicy hit in every bite. #YumYum
Chicken in Mat-Kha Sauce [Rs. 260]
The Fajita Shrimp were Mexican style shrimps served on a bed of crushed nachos and drizzled with sour cream and chives. Crunchy nachos with perfectly cooked tender shrimp, a perfect combination. Goes best with a shot of Tequila. #DeliciousDelicious
Fajita Shrimp [Rs. 360]
The Dhuandaar Butter Chicken had a little bit of a theater going on with a whisky flambé. Well-cooked but again a little too sweet, even for someone who doesn’t mind a sweetish BC.
Dhuandaar Butter Chicken [Rs. 300]
Isn’t it dish-crimination if you prefer some food to be served in bowls instead of plates? 😉
The Handiwali Badhiya Veg Biryani was perfectly dum-ed and served steaming hot. Soft, long grained basmati rice and oodles of masala and veggies. Now that’s a biryani for you!! [YES! VEG. BIRYANI EXISTS. AND NO! IT IS NOT PULAO!!!] #DeliciousDelicious
Handiwali Badhiya Veg Biryani [Rs. 200]
